Assistants, kiosks and the widget

What do I need to run a kiosk?

A tablet you already own, a stand and an internet connection. Open the kiosk address on the tablet, enter the pairing code from your panel, and it is live. There is no app to install and no dedicated hardware to buy.

Where does the assistant get its answers?

From the information you enter: opening hours, location, contact details, services and policies. It is instructed to answer from those facts and to say it does not know otherwise, rather than inventing a price or an opening time.

Is the widget the same assistant as the kiosk?

Yes. One assistant answers on every surface you add it to, so changing your opening hours once changes what the tablet and your website both say.

Can someone copy my widget onto their own site?

No. The widget runs only on the domains you list, enforced on the server as well as by the page's framing policy.

What happens when I change something?

It is live as soon as you save it. A conversation already under way keeps the answers it started with, so nothing changes mid-sentence for the visitor in front of it.

Credits and billing

How is this charged?

One credit is one second of avatar video. The same balance covers kiosks at your venue, the widget on your website and the video API, so there is a single number to watch.

Can I try it before paying?

Yes. Every new account starts with free time, which is enough to build an assistant and talk to it.

What happens when the balance runs out?

Conversations stop and new ones are refused, so an unattended tablet cannot run up a bill. You can leave a card on file and have the next bundle bought automatically whenever the balance drops below a threshold you choose.

Am I charged for a failed generation?

No. If a video fails, nothing is charged, and the request is recorded with the reason so you can see what happened.

Privacy

Do you store audio or video?

No. Audio is processed for speech recognition and avatar video is streamed during the session; neither is stored.

What is kept about visitor conversations?

Only timing and outcome, so billing never depends on what was said. Visitor speech is not retained and there is no transcript of it.

What should I not put in an assistant?

Anything you would not show a visitor who walks in. The assistant answers from what you enter, so leave out personal data about named individuals.

Conversation training

Do I need an account?

No. Anonymous sessions are not saved. Sign in with a password-free magic link to keep history, transcripts, debriefs and repeat comparisons.

Does training use my credits?

No. Training conversations are free and never draw on the balance your kiosks and widget spend.

What appears in progress?

Progress shows completed sessions, the latest 0–100 score and the score change between a repeat and its first attempt.

What does feedback assess?

Feedback describes communication behaviors visible in the transcript. It does not assess intent, personality or personal worth.

Is this professional advice?

No. It is a communication training tool, not legal, HR, clinical or compliance advice.
